It was a good company to work for while I was in high school.

I worked at whataburger for 9 months. I was a good job to have while I was in school but not a good job if you have bills to pay. I enjoyed to great people that I worked with but I needed a better career job to work at. Whatabutger is a good company to work for if you want elevate your career but it might take decades to peruse, depending on who you know.

overall Whataburger is a comfortable work place but I’m ways lacks professionalism.

Whataburger was a very beneficial in terms of flexibility schedule wise and another good thing was employees got paid weekly. However the cons were they weren’t very organized overall. The management team was at times unprofessional but were very dedicated in terms of customer satisfaction.

It’s ok

The people are friendly when u first start there and they do try and help you move up in the company at different stores just have to make sure you learn everything to keep the store clean and know what you are doing because they change sandwiches a lot as well as the prices the people you come in contact with are very loving

Fun place to work at

Really great co-workers and lots of enjoyment and fun to be had from working there. The management team was also really nice to get along with and were understanding of a lot.

Good hours

Overall review is that great hours and flexible with schedule as well. Pay was okay, they paid other people more for doing less. For me i did more but got paid less. Other than that it’s a good starting job.

The Pay

The good thing about at Whataburger is the discounts for you & your family. The manager will make sure if you don't know something they will help you practice it. Lastly, you will grow a bond with the team members, like a family sorta thing.

New Hire

Seems promising, too early to tell because I have only just been hired. Managers seem to be kind and helpful about my training experience and welcoming to me from the first.

Good customer service poor communication

Everyone was too nosey in everyone’s business but they had good customer service but poor communication. The job tasks weren’t challenging at all but you did have to know how to work in fast pace

Manager

Great company great brand The work is not easy Menu is far too complicated for a fast food place Service is slow because the menu is too complicated Good job security It’s not too difficult just a stressful environment sometimes

Fast-paced workplace with incredible co-workers and management

Personally, I really enjoyed my time working at Whataburger, my co-workers were so great and management was flexible and attentive. The hardest part was probably the fast-paced environment, but it's super easy once you get used to it.

Productive

Good place to start after graduating just to get your name out there. More of an entry job place and then you can move up within the company. Fun place for the most part.

Love

The company loves its family and customers. Only thing I didnt like is that they don't offer short term disability, so after I had both my kids I had to go 6+weeks without pay.

First starting, learning new names, getting the hang of new equipment

I would say the hardest part for me at whataburger was first starting out there especially moving from kansas i didn’t know anyone and i had never worked in fast food before It didn’t take me too long to get a hang of things before they let me do my job without being trained Customer service comes super easy for me i also used to work in a nursing home back in kansas so that’s definitely something we had to be good with

good but...

management was awful. after awhile you would receive less hours as if they gave you a lot of hours to make you happy and stay with them. sometimes the schedule that was posted would get changed without anyone knowing or given a warning.

It's an okay first job.

So, whataburger was an okay place let me just say that. I had made great friends working there and that's about the only thing that kept me there. The management is a joke. All of them have favorites which is expected but if problems arise between you and their favorites expect no hours and being sent home early constantly. The job itself isn't that bad otherwise i mean you have picky customers and jerks all the same. For my first job it was an alright one i guess but I wouldn't really reccommend any of my friends the job unless they were desperate.

It's a pretty good place to work for a while

I love working at Whataburger just for the income and the customers. Co-Workers are not the best to work with, love the regulars we get and all customers(mostly).

If you have a problem the won't take care of it like they say they will.

I've had many problems with people trying to distract me from my learning and I would speak to a manager about it and they wouldn't do nothing but say "ok". It has really poor management
