Uber cares
Today’s communities face an unprecedented set of challenges. And while technology by itself isn’t the solution, when it’s done right—and combined with good partnerships—it has the potential to contribute to a better world for all. Our goal is to make every journey a shared one. When we help more people move with fewer, fuller, and more efficient cars, we may help save fuel, improve air quality, and increase a transportation system’s efficiency with each trip.

After a while driving takes a toll
Being that I like to chat driving was fun always something new, but takes a toll on car (gas & mileage) and body (sitting and fast food) became a choir and just wasnt worth the energy put into it.

On and offf
Good if you just want lots of freedom with your day to day job. Be warned that when it's off with the amount of rides you get It's super off in regards to your income and what you take back home. If you can deal with that then you can make uber driving work if your city has a good demand for the service.

Uber its a good company to work for but there are some issues
It's nice to work when you want to work, take a day off when you like to the only thing that's not good is that they will suspend your account for little things so that you can't even work until you resolve it with uber

It's on you if you want to work. There's really no o boss here you are you're own boss at times you desire to work. The only strive is to push that hard ambition and get to drive in a good mood.

not worth working there
No good besides flexibility everything else is bad, they dont care about the drivers you kill yourself and your car just to make a decent amount but at the end it goes to food, gas, and car expenses

Uber Eats Driver
Very easy cash, terrible customer support. I have talked to at least six different people and have documentation of it and how incompetent most* of the staff is. They want to help but they are unable to answer basic questions.

This is a great company to work for that provides a great way of making income with flexibility
Working for Uber has given me the opportunity to provide great customer service to a wide range of individuals from every demographic. I’m able to make great income and have the flexibility that I need. I’ve had the opportunity to travel to many places that would otherwise have not been experienced. For the vast majority of my employment experience with the company, I’ve had great experiences but there have been some unpleasant experiences such as having to effectively deal with rude and disrespectful individuals that may be belligerent at times. Also, there’s a substantial amount of wear and tear on my vehicle and expensive upkeep/ maintenance costs.

Great place
Uber is a great place to work. Really enjoyed my time at the company. Lots of smart people, challenging problems to solve, exciting place to be for much of my career.
Delivery Driver
Bakersfield, CA - March 3, 2020
Uber
It is great because you can make your own schedule and you have the choice to get paid instantly. If you are self motivated and disciplined you will be able to make quite a profit. The worst part about the job is running so many miles on your car and having to refill gas 2-3 times a week. Sometimes it also feels like there’s low compensation for some rides, but uber does their best to make a trip worth the drive.

Atlanta, GA - March 3, 2020
Depends on the pay and car situation
Do not get a car through Uber. If you have your own car. Make sure you do not care about the vehicle because the passengers don't and you will have to put high miles on the car to make good money. Also, don't get comfortable with the pay because it fluctuates from week to week.

Uber was ok but the infrastructure could use some work
Uber was ok but the infrastructure could use some work. Allowing your employees to know exactly what the guidelines for their job and laws for their state would benefit everyone.
Delivery Driver
Atlanta, GA - March 3, 2020
Ability to make money working on your own
A typical day can be tiring depending on the number of deliveries. Some areas will get more trips than others and there is opportunity to make decent money most of the time.
Driver
Arlington, TX - March 3, 2020
Great To Have For Extra Income But Be Careful
Uber is good to have if you need to bring in another set of income. However, I would suggest being careful when it comes to customers. You will have customers who pretend to be comfortable during the ride and some will rate you over the small or something they could’ve done themselves. The rating system is also horrible but be share to have positive attitude, treating your customers fair, talk to them, and you will land a tip as well.

Waterbury, CT - March 2, 2020
getting to meet nice people's.
it be long day's but very fun to do. I learned how to deal with all type of culture's of people's, and the management is very good at what they do.my workplace culture is normally a mixture of talking to my customer's and see how they day is going to keep them in a good move, and help them to have a good day. And the hardest part of the job is when some one call and when u get to the location they cancel out and when the GPS start to acted up. The most enjoyable part of the job is traveling to far distance to new York and the tips.
Driver
Knoxville, TN - March 2, 2020
You are at the mercy of each rider you pickup.
You get accused of things that put your account on hold. This keeps you from working until they investigates charges against you. Then they put you back to work noing they did nothing except to keep you from working when they knew all along the rider was working to get free ride. Uber doesn't even admit they made a mistake. Plus, you wear your car out.

work too hard for a little bit of money
Driving for uber full time means long hours just to break even. Between gas,car maintenance and rental , license maintenance, you barely break even then you have to pay your life bills.
