Target security specialist

It is good and bad

Target is great if it's your first job, decent pay with flexible hours. Not the job you would want to work long term. Not much room for growth. The benefits could be better.

It’s an ok job and good for learning

The job is good for learning different departments and different skills for someone who doesn’t know what they want to do yet. You will also be trained if you feel the need to move departments

Apparel Associate

Could look for worse

Management here is terrible , people are always coming and going . Hours are horrendous until the last 3 months . Little to no communication whatsoever.

Target Security Specialist

Albany, CA - March 5, 2020

Working there was fun when I had something to do. Depending on management it can make work either fun or a pain. Depending on your teamlead/ manager you can improve or stay at a stalemate.

Coeur d'Alene, ID - March 5, 2020

Pretty good place to work all things considered

I worked a seasonal position at target and all-in-all it was not that bad of a place to work. At the time of my employment I had personal struggles I was going through, but the management there was open and willing to help me that I was able to persevere through this. At the end of my seasonal position it was handled with respect, however I was not given forewarning to being dropped. In summary, I would say that the management was exceptional, at least in my department, and I got rich experience and insight that I will be able to take with me. It may be stressful and almost claustrophobic, but due to the people I worked with I survived.

Pico Rivera, CA - March 5, 2020

Lower than minimum in LA

The job as a barista was very different from a corporate Starbucks. It was more task oriented and required solid knowledge and good work ethic. The pay could be better but it can be fun.

General Merchandise Expert

Denver, CO - March 5, 2020

They promise many things and never actually live up to that promise. It’s a great place to work if you want something very flexible with little to no hours.

Logistics Team Member

Management communication was important

Multiple responsibilities, including inventory management and control, customer support, receiving shipments, mail order fulfillment. Staff turnover was definitely an issue; manager communication is important in this position.

Good company and gives opportunities for everybody

I was not trained for a specific person, but I learned by asking and finding out for myself how to do it. Great place to develop teamwork skills, and practice relationship with diferente types of costumers.

Shift Supervisor

Holland, OH - March 5, 2020

Great place to work

I worked at Target for about two and a half years. For the most part, everyone there was easy to get along with and although the customers were at times difficult, there was nothing but love between most employees.

Inbound (Seasonal)

Fresno, CA - March 5, 2020

Great workplace

I loved working at target. There is an amazing community of people there and they really look out for their employees. I would definitly go back. Very inclusive.

Backroom Team Member

Brooklyn, NY - March 4, 2020

Bad experience

Most managers only look out for themselves. Hard to move up. Bad hours. Not enough pay for the amount of work (specificially backroom). Only thing that helps the job is the people that you meet while working

Sales Associate

Hanover, MA - March 4, 2020

Just another job

Quite honestly, this job was simply a seasonal job to make money for Christmas presents. I can honestly say I have never been in an environment so disrespectful towards its staff. I will never apply here again.
