Customer Service Representative/Solicitor
Fremont, CA - March 4, 2020
Productive environment
A typical day at State Farm Insurance was sending out reminders of payments for insurance, quotes, or any updates on client's policies via phone call or e-mail while answering incoming calls or e-mails inquiring insurance policies or other concerns.
Customer Service Specialist
Southborough, MA - March 5, 2020
Outstanding environment
This is a cherry position. It's a corporate position not an independent agent office. Compensation is very good. Work environment is casual and welcoming. Management is top notch! Benefits are spectacular!
Account Manager / Claims Assistant
Torrance, CA - March 5, 2020
customer relationship is the most import thing
Being a broker then moving to State Farm was a true change of pace. I went from a highly sales driven environment, to a place where customers came first and then sales. I enjoyed assisting the customers and building a relationship with my clients. I felt valued for my work but, State Farm does not offer much room for growth. I found myself hungry for more opportunity.

Intern
Thibodaux, LA - March 4, 2020
Very good community
The job was a good experience. It gave me skills that I was not aware that I needed to learn. The workers there are very close so it is sort of hard to fit in but I also still felt welcomed and liked.
Team member intern
Fulton, MO - March 4, 2020
Good experience for insurance industry.
Each day, I was in charge of accepting clients’ premium payments. I acclimated easily to their customer relationship management system. Ending the day included processing the daily deposit.

Insurance Sales Agent
Reno, NV - March 3, 2020
Fun work environment, but bad management
Since each State Farm agency is independent, each agent will provide a different workplace experience. In my time at State Farm, it was fun, but it should have been more focused on growing the business. Furthermore, make sure the commission structure is fair before accepting the position.

The work environment is friendly
Working with the team was nice, and I have left good friends. Although the pay has not been the best
Customer Service Representative
Arlington Heights, IL - March 2, 2020
productive work place
great positive place of work to assist customers with their needs. Worked with great positive people who were always there to assist and help out an employee to help them grow in the company and become more successful in their place of work.
Claim Representative
Remote - March 2, 2020
Job security - but limited career growth unless you want to relocate
If there was an option for me to advance with the company without leaving, I would have stayed. But in my location there were not any growth opportunities; I was obligated to either stay in my role or move to a hub and I wasn't willing to leave my family for a job.

Pretty smooth environment with a great view if you have a cubical by the window once you’ve hit the floor. Great support system for any questions you may have.
Translator, Customer Service
Fullerton, CA - February 28, 2020
Productive and great place to work for
It was a great experience for me. It will vary with each agent on how they run their office environment but for the most part it's easy going. You may occasionally deal with some tough customers so be ready for that.
Agent
Albany, OR - February 28, 2020
Focused on customers - which is great!
I love the personal interaction with each client as an individual. Being able to help families when they need me most. I sell a concept, not a product.
Insurance Sales/Commercial Specialist
Brentwood, CA - February 27, 2020
This is a review of a particular agency, not the corporate office itself
I do not work for the actual company, but rather an agent of the company. The agency itself is small and we have a good rapport with each other. However, the workload tends to be more then what the pay offered warrants. The building is old and many times has problems that the landlord has not addressed properly.
