Healthy work place.

Good place to work, helps with healthy lifestyle, have many options on food choices. You can learn different departments and that makes you have many skill sets.

Bakery Manager

Albuquerque, NM - March 5, 2020

Management and associates are hateful!

Sprouts has a high turnover due to lack of management education & commication skills. They do not want to hire the appropriate staff to cover areas, They try to force you to stay pass your shift. I would not recommend working at any location .Especially the store on Coors &Montano worst management ever. Definitely stay away from bakery and deli

Diary Clerk

Jupiter, FL - March 4, 2020

terrible structure and no leadership

the only thing I learned from working here was that management will take advantage of you until you've had enough and wonder why you quit. Theres no training, no structure, and no one cares about anyone but themselves haha!

Cashier/ bakery clerk

Not enough pay for the amount of work that you have to do, never really appreciated for the work that is done and also no time for self outside of work

Deli Clerk

Yukon, OK - March 4, 2020

I don’t think that they actually care for the employees unless the work is done

I do not think the miniatures really care as long as the work gets done they don’t care about the issues were running out of supply that to me or the fact that you don’t have enough help to get the job done completely

Frozen Foods Manager

San Diego, CA - March 3, 2020

A retail stereotype

Micro managing from the regional manager down to clerks. Do not go the extra mile for this company because you will never be rewarded for the effort. Whether you're the hardest or weakest worker, you will be treated the same as everyone else. Everyone is very nice, but the level of management never exceeds that of a novice. Zero filters for hiring good employees. Zero filters for promotions to higher positions. The current CEO is a former big wig from Walmart and that sums up the experience. Sprouts is the Walmart of health food stores. But hey, If you're lazy and just want to be promoted for showing up, the employee turnover rate will quickly land you as the most senior employee in your dept and seniority is valued over all other factors for promotion to higher positions. Best wishes!

DELI MANAGER

Queen Creek, AZ - March 3, 2020

Corporate atmosphere

They switch to a more “Walmart” run culture hurting the employees making it more difficult to perform our day to day jobs. It started out nice with a friendly culture but is now every man for hinswlf

4.0

Grocery Manager

New Jersey - March 2, 2020

Fun for Some

It really depends on your position. Some are treated way better than others. Seems the harder you work, the harder they want you to work. Also, the promoting is completely one-sided.

Math & Physics Tutor

Sugar Land, TX - March 2, 2020

Good place to learn about the benefits of healthy living.

I believe the hardest part of the job was the physical labor. Very intensive work and needed to be completed before a certain time. Every other aspect of work was splendid.

4.0

Produce Associate

Mesa, AZ - February 28, 2020

Very friendly employees and a relaxed work environment

Its greatest strength and weakness is how relaxed it is. A fellow associate helped me make my produce carts to work when I started out without even being asked. He helped me see what I should be looking for and how much I should be working on each trip. I then got told I'm being moved out of produce which upset me because I had just gotten back into the groove of it. They gave some business speak before admitting they wanted someone more independent who can make their own carts. This upset me greatly because I had never asked for help the fellow associate had just decided to help me and now I was going to lose my position. I raised a stink over it saying I never asked for help and to give me a chance to actually do the job. They said I could have it but I was basically on probation. I was really upset working for them and every time they praised my work after that incident I could only feel bitter over the whole thing.

5.0

Cashier

Tomball, TX - February 27, 2020

Great place

I love working here, I don't feel over worked or stressed. The only issue I'm having is getting enough hours, since nobody wants to wait in line long, they often have several different employees working a little bit of hours.

3.0

Deli Clerk

Henderson, NV - February 26, 2020

good as a short-term way to make money

This job was often stressful and understaffed. Store management gave many tasks and were inflexible with the time they expected things to be completed in. Coworkers and department managers were respectful and contributed to the workload but were often overwhelmed by demand from customers and store management. Good overall company, values and environment, but day-to-day work life often left a lot to be desired.

3.0

Back up scan

Walnut Creek, CA - February 22, 2020

Growth

Good atmosphere and room to grow within the company. For scan the most busiest days are Wednesday and Thursday and towards the end of the month we get a lot more tags because end of the month price changes

3.0

Courtesy Clerk / Meat Clerk

Elk Grove, CA - February 20, 2020

Too much management / employee turnover

- Hour cuts were very common and many employees left because of it

3.0

Courtesy Clerk

Albuquerque, NM - February 11, 2020

Cool but not great

Aside from being vulnerable to anyone being able to hit you on the job with their car, it was a nice experience especially for someone younger wanting to get experience. It's a nice place for your first job where you're just getting the experience to add to your resume.
