Great place to work at!

I loved working at Home Instead! It was very rewarding but aside from that, the supervisors were amazing! They’re very understanding and very flexible. They’re also very nice I felt like I belonged instantly. It wasn’t a hostile environment ever.

Service Coordinator

Prescott, AZ - March 5, 2020

Continually busy and ever-changing environment.

My typical day begins with observing our client and caregiver schedule. I operate and manage this daily with close detail and attention. I learn about new clients and and caregivers every week. There are deadlines to meet with scheduling last minute shifts for both client and CG which can be challenging. I love the satisfaction it brings me when I create good matches for CGs/clients.

Caregiver

managers aren’t really my idea of management, a lot of favoritism

It’s okay, when something goes wrong with your client such as being hospitalized, sometimes it takes a while to be assigned a new client if he/she never comes homes. Some of the chores in my opinion aren’t split equally upon the employees.

Caregiver/Personal Assistant

Conway, AR - March 2, 2020

Love my clients

I really do like the job, there just isn’t much room for raises or consistent hours. You have a lot of one on one time with clients which is nice because you come attached to them

A large variety of clientele

I enjoyed being able to work with a very diverse group of people. My managers were always willing to work with me within my schedule and set me up with the client's that I would work well with and that would work well with me.

Helping the Elderly

Rewarding job if you love helping others! Thats what brought me joy. Making sure that the ederly that was ill was comfortable and happy. And their family felt good knowing their loved one was taken care of. The pay was decent but no benefits. This was one of my favorite jobs.

Caregiver/Personal Assistant

Fountain Hills, AZ - February 19, 2020

Co-workers are amazing!

Management didn't follow through on a payroll issue that lasted for several months and eventually they chose to ignore the problem. It was most disappointing, especially when they excelled in so many other areas.

Professional caregiver

Franklin, TN - February 19, 2020

Love my job but feel like we should make more than we do. We use our cars phones and selves to do our job with very little compensation. Love my job.

I love my job and working with my clients. Pleasing them pleases me. I enjoy going to work each day and do everything i can to make my clients happy. I would love to make more money but thats not my purpose with this job. I dont like the way the pay is done. I keep up with my hours and mileage every day and cant ever match up with the check i get. I feel us caregivers work very hard for nothing.

Good place if you need a flexible schedule

They offer flexibility with your schedule. Typical day at work is going in and helping a person with basic needs of bathing, fixing them something to eat, cleaning, doing laundry and keeping the client engage in activities.
