Assistant Manager

Under paid and over worked

The job itself is exciting and interesting. Teenagers are promoted to manager and never fully grow up. This makes for a high school like work environment and difficult for someone coming in from the outside

Fun workplace

Everyday was a pretty chill day. People were usually glad to be there to see a movie they had been waiting for, so not too many rude people came in. Management was great, always tried to make work fun and still get enough done.

Busy workplace. Enjoyable downtime.

Busy with sales during peak times and cleaning at the end of the shift. Enjoyable co-workers can make for great downtime conversations. It's still work, but definitely has its perks. Pay is not so good.

The management needs to be better.

General Manager was a good person and he understood everything in my situation, but the assistant managers and the shift managers were really hard and not understandable at all.

A normal day at work is always cool , the employees are like new best friends it’s really easy to get along with them & it doesn’t work you too much .

I personally really love the job & wouldn’t trade it , people take flexibility at a job for granted at times & At this job I’m lucky enough to be able to do that .

Good

I really enjoy the environment at Cinemark, it’s just hard to get hours sometimes. Everyone is so nice and it’s an easy job, but the hours vary anywhere from no days in a week to 4 days in a row
