Assistant Grocery Director

Spring, TX - March 4, 2020

Chaotic workplace. Managers turnover often and with the same results.

Managers don't hold employees accountable unless corporate is visiting. If things were managed to a high standard daily then there would be no issues. Employees who do work at a high standard are seen as difficult.

Stocker

Tucson, AZ - March 5, 2020

They are strict about the position you pick.

Dont try to change position or work space because I asked for a morning shift and got fired. They were rude about it and told me I could change to mornings because of caring for 3 children and then they disagreed with me wanting to have a morning shift and I was fired the same day

All Purpose clerk

Helena, MT - March 4, 2020

Customer first retailer

I was able to assist in every department of the store which helped me be successful in helping increase the customer experience. I feel that if there was a different store manager overall moral of the employment would've been better.

Deli Clerk/Courtesy/Cashier

Grants Pass, OR - March 4, 2020

Energized workplace

I enjoyed working here. I got a nice discount while working and I enjoyed the people. There was a small lack of diversity but I would put that to our town being very low in diversity.

Deli Clerk

Broussard, LA - March 4, 2020

Not worth staying for long

It pays good but the work environment makes it depressing to come in everyday. I loved working at the one in Lake Charles, but Broussard's Albertsons is not really focused on employee happiness.

Jewel osco

Waukegan, IL - March 3, 2020

A nice environment with the nicest employees.

Regardless of the rude customers and some bad choices the managers make, its a pretty nice job. Got paid weekly too so i would always have money in my pocket.

Courtesy Clerk

Albuquerque, NM - March 3, 2020

coworkers

at the time of me working here my co workers would never do or finish their cart pushing duties and leaves me at the worst end of the stick having to work just as hard to push them in

Assistant Florist

University Place, WA - March 2, 2020

Easy, fun, and learned great skills

Fun and fresh to work with living things, and customer base is different than other positions in the store. Management a bit stressful at times, and you pay Union Dues.

Baker

Billings, MT - March 2, 2020

It's a job.

Better than being unemployed and there are probably worse jobs to do. Night hours don't agree with me, thought I could do them when I started and it is difficult to even search for another job now. Hours were cut from full time to 22-26 hours following my initial 3 months and are not consistent.

Starbucks Barista/Cashier

Marysville, WA - March 2, 2020

I loved working for Albertons starbucks

Co workers were amazing, pay good the customers were my favorite. Short staffed made work stressful. I would love to still work at albertsons, great place

A typical day at Albertsons would be having great customer service and making sure the customer comes first, and that the customer is always right.

BAKER/MANGER HELPER

Portland, OR - March 1, 2020

Fun place if you aren't an over achiever.

As long as you stick to your job duties this is a great place but once you have shown interest in growth they take full advantage. for example I did managerial duties and the position was open they refused to give me the position yet still tried forcing me to complete duties out of my pay grade/duties. needless to say I quit a day before inventory to maintain my own sanity. they very much under pay and under appreciate their workers. they had done the same thing to a deli clerk and meat clerk.

Enterprise Program Manager Infrastructure Services

Phoenix, AZ - February 29, 2020

Good company. Right in the middle of digital transformation. Good people in the middle.

Company that's challenged to digitize and privatize all cloud secure applications for all 2,800 stores in the US. It's great that they have the manila resources available for offshore resource.

Clerk

Las Vegas, NV 89119 - February 26, 2020

Overall, okay.

This company was okay to work for, however not ideal. There was favoritism between certain courtesy clerks and management. Overall, it worked mostly to satisfy customers more that employees.

Assistant front end manager, bookkeeper,

Bend, OR - February 22, 2020

Loved the job!!

The Bend Store is like family! loved the job and the people there. Sometimes tho not enough hours to give to cashiers and seemed short handed. the workers need a raise to keep up with cost there.

I loved my job there. Early start and got off with almost a whole day to relax. It was fast paced and the employers were a joy to work with. My manager was super supportive and helpful.
