Great

It was honestly an amazing job I loved working with children!! It was a friendly, positive and uplifting environment. The staff and management were all like one family and were so supportive of each other.

4/5 or 3/5 depends on what is important

24 helped me to achieve my goal of helping others be the best version of themselves. I had a lot of advancement opportunities and a lot of support from my most recent management. However, management can be hit or miss and front line team members aren’t paid enough to keep turnover down. I enjoyed my time at 24 and would have loved to continued to grow; however, circumstances didn’t allow. I will be interested to know if 24 truly cares about employees after the covid-19 situation is over

Certified Personal Trainer

Great place to work but has it's ups and downs

Training clients is great, but there's a great degree of separation between all the personal trainers, as if each one is on their own island. There is very little connection between them all; it has an "us vs. them" vibe. Selling personal training is very difficult due to the extremely high prices for training. Equipment is well kept and they fix it promptly, but there is very little respect for the trainers at the gym.

Good place to work

Great place to work just management needs to communicate more with associates especially when it came to the covid-19 pandemic, got most of my information from coworkers.

Its ridiculously

I could go on and on....The only thing that benefits me is the gym variety But, working there, Has been just bland. No management to encourage, or hasn't even had 4 words with me. Its basically its own group, If your not fitting in,with their click, your ousted...

Cheap Company and no loyalty

After Covid-19 the company did not get behind their employees during the crisis. I do not recommend this company to anyone. They are cheap and extremely ineffici.ent

Master Trainer

Contra Costa County, CA - May 3, 2020

Employees undervalued

Flexibility with your schedule, but usually must contain 1 weekend day, every week. Tremendous pressure on trainers for sales. I’ve been employed as a Master Trainer 6 years. They offer NO continuing education units or seminars for trainers to improve their skills. They hire ANYONE who has a certificate, regardless if they are competent or safe for the members! They play favorites OFTEN!!!

If you want to be a manager

Be prepared to give up everything. 24 hour fitness is in it for the money. Not members, clients or staff. All they care about is profit. It’s a good starting point, build relationships with your clients and then train them outside the gym, the only way you’ll make money

Working at 24

Overall a great, fun job. I feel that the pay should be better considering how big of a company it is and the fact that we are in the year 2020. I enjoyed my time there.

Service Expert

Greeley, CO - April 16, 2020

Shady

At our location at 24 Hour Fitness the employees are family. But the job itself can be a little shady. As only a Service Expert I only sell memberships with the prices provided. Sometimes the “higher-ups” will move numbers around just to get that sale. That person will most likely come back with billing problems. Other than that without all the computer issues, pricing issues, and management issues. It’s a fun place to work at.

It was great when I was there

24hr use to be a community based health club chain with a lot of character. They have many amenities that can cater to many. If you like gyms and you have kids or different hrs this could be a good fit for you.

Plano, TX - April 10, 2020

Fun workplace/ Micro Managing

This place is fun to work but there is a lot of micro managing and somehow feel like they are doing you a favor paying you minimum wage. Also the wages for the personal training packages are way to low on commission your better off doing your own thing as a trainer. Thank you

consistently changing

Company was under constant change due to multiple acquisitions. Depending upon upper manager club staff either was supported or was not supported in achieving their business results.
